Extreme Cold

Record-setting deep arctic cold is sprawling into the nation’s breadbasket and will curl into Ohio behind last night’s snow and sleet.

Temperatures overnight will average near zero, but go well below inland away from the lakeshore:

A second storm will keep the cold air in place through the weekend.

Initial storm track will mean that Ohio gets clipped by the synoptic snow on Thursday and Thursday night, but lake effect snow may be added at the end of the system for NEOhio.
