I posted this photo on Instagram yesterday explaining that I was writing to my U.S. Congress Representative and Senators to support permanent STANDARD Time (and NOT permanent DAYLIGHT SAVING Time like some Senators propose).
The AMA and President Elect Trump already vocalized support for permanent STANDARD Time. I knew this would stir the pot, so-to-speak. While most showed their support by liking my post, about 5-10% vocalized their disappointment with my position. One person (now blocked) even suggested I stay “in my lane” (weather) and out of politics. Say what? Shouldn’t we ALL be engaged in self-governance vis-a-vis politics? I called him a 🤡 and then blocked him. I honestly don’t have time for people like this. I rarely block people but will use that tool on anyone who is unkind or resorts to derogatory comments.
Is everyone ready for the most brutally cold air of the season early next week?
