While it still feels muggy right now,  just look at all of the dry air to our west getting ready to zoom in!

The air will have a completely different feel by Wednesday.

Helene was “gobbled up” by an upper low a few days ago.

As a result, the combined recalcitrant low set up sjop just to our southwest, sending waves of showers into Ohio. Note how the moisture slowly disappears over the first few days of the work week.

The eye of Hurricane Helene is now showing up on Tampa NEXRAD:

Helene is expected to be a Category 4 hurricane at landfall late Thursday. Listen for an update on Heartfelt Radio at 7:20 AM as I join Brian Brooks LIVE.

Winds aloft pattern suggests a significant autumnal cool down at the end of next week as we welcome the month of October.

High pressure may block most, if not all, of the rainfall from pushing north off the Ohio River.
