“Protean” is a word that means constant change. If you look at the winds aloft map sequence below, you will find lots of ups and downs in terms of temperature pattern. This is fairly typical as we had into the month of March. Overall, temperatures should return to normal when all is said and done when we finish with the month of March.

It’s weak and lacks voluminous moisture, but there is enough dynamics to kick off areas of snow showers on Thursday… perhaps even  enough to move around with a snow brush in places.
