Unless you’re hiding under a rock, you are at least aware of the mockery of Christ followers that was a part of the Olympic opening ceremonies. The Holy Spirit gave us a sense of what awaited worldwide television viewers before last Friday, so we refused to watch. Sure enough….. 🤦♂️
The “apology” was very slow to come. Sincere? Who knows.
I have the same question that many other brothers and sisters in Christ are asking: “Where was the Olympic committee? Did they give all this evil a thumbs up?”
It’s such a shame that athletes who worked so hard to compete on a world stage have been upstaged by a spirit of Baal (evil)…. but as much as we have enjoyed watching these athletes in the past, our family (along with so many others we know) are boycotting the Olympics. NBC and the Olympic committee need to pay a hefty price.
FlashPoint (Victory Channel) had a special edition last night as a part of the open of the SW Believer’s Convention. Gene Bailey, Dutch Sheets, and Hank Kunneman did a beautiful job of helping Christ-followers to navigate through this event. I encourage you to watch them address this.
