The recent cool-down allowed our April temperature departure to approach the +/- 2°F normal zone….

…however, the forecast summery warm-up will reverse that trend going into the remainder of April!

After a ton of rain over the last few days, it’s so nice to see SO much of Ohio in the NACITS zone!

The cold front is easy to pick out on ANY temperature graph in NEOhio early this Wednesday morning. Here is one from Fowler’s Mill in Geauga County.

Is it normal to see snowfall in April? In short, yes! Usually in early April.

In 2008, Cleveland saw more than 30-inches of snow… a record for March! Since then, we saw near normal snowfall, on average, until 2020. Since then, our Marches have been “easy” in terms of snowfall.
