Some of the “stickiest” air (dew point 70°F+) has moved in to the Midwest this morning.
With a cold front moving in toward sunset Wednesday, thunderstorms will become more numerous toward evening. SPC has included us in a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms.
The overall pattern, however, continues to be a cool and unsettled one beyond today. Overall, this pattern seems to hang on through the middle of next week at the very least.

A new eruption in the Reykjanes peninsula has begun as of 8:47 AM EDT.

I used to open WeatherJazz® by saying that I was the lead meteorologist on staff with WJW Television in Cleveland, Ohio… not anymore. Note in the extended winds aloft sequence below, there are numerous fast-paced showery systems that barrel through Ohio between now, and until a more stable and warm ridge of high pressure that develops by May 26th. This will result in a good number of weather changes between now and next week. Buckle up!
