Growing season is approaching. With a different pace coming post-retirement beginning at the end of May, it was my desire to begin growing our own (organic, “unaltered”) food. So many of us in NEOhio have the same hard clay soil challenges, so a raised bed garden was the perfect solution.

Don’t jump to conclusions like one person I encountered when I posted this on social media: “Don’t use plastic!” yada, yada, yada….

My response: “It’s NOT plastic!” *sigh*

It’s a breathable organic fabric. Here’s the first 4’ by 2’ box.

The second one went in yesterday.
